William Baker will be speaking as one of the six industry experts who will present around the theme “Course Rescue.” The experts will be provided budgets, profit and loss statements, and market demographics for three prototypical courses (muni, public daily fee, and semi-private), and will be asked to dissect the numbers and present strategies for improving performance and profitability line item by line item. Presentation topics will include outsourcing, agronomy best practices, optimizing space Planning and facility design, maximizing profits from food and beverage operations, energy and utility cost-saving strategies, and optimizing revenues through technology.
This is your chance to gain invaluable insight and guidance, and even if you walk away with only one or two new ideas or strategies, it will be well worth your time. Attendees are also encouraged to submit their own questions or concerns about their circumstances in advance of the event so that experts are prepared to offer course specific advice at the conference. Simply reply to this email with your specific issues, and we will provide them to the industry experts.
Conference attendance is free to CGCOA members and sponsors (one member per course or sponsor, additional individuals pay the non-member fee), and includes morning refreshments and lunch. Optional golf is encouraged immediately following the event. Non-members of CGCOA are also welcomed and encouraged to attend.
